Our Mission

The Sustainability Investment Group (SIG) is UT Austin’s only finance organization that goes beyond the standard curriculum. You won’t just learn to pitch a stock or build a DCF model — you’ll learn to value a company based on their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impacts.

At SIG, we strive for innovation — in our work, our members, and more. By bringing together a group of students with diverse backgrounds and interests, we are building a brighter future.

Recruitment is hard — we know. However, SIG provides its members with a vast range of external resources and internal programs, enabling them to achieve professional success and make valuable connections during their time at UT. Among other things, SIG boasts:
