Our Mission
The Sustainability Investment Group (SIG) is UT Austin’s only finance organization going beyond the standard curriculum. You won’t just learn to pitch a stock or build a DCF model. You will learn to value a company based on their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impacts.
At SIG, we strive for innovation — in our work, our members, and more. By bringing together a group of students with diverse backgrounds, we are building a brighter future.

Recruitment is hard — we know. Luckily SIG members have pursued all sorts of careers ranging from investment banking (IB) to government work. We have a willing base of alumni happy to connect with you and discuss their experiences in the professional world. We also have current members in top firms willing to provide support in any shape or form during your recruitment process.
However, we recognize there are two main paths most students choose: IB and consulting. That is why we have dedicated resources to support these two areas.
IB: Summer bootcamps and mock interviews throughout the school year
Consulting: Resume reviews, case prep, behavioral practice
We got you!! And remember.. you have a whole class of other students going through it with you.
